11-12pm - Fiercely Dramatic Improv with Professor Denise J. Hart - Break your acting mold! Take bold risks, gain confidence and deeper emotional connection with this intensive dramatic improv class. Using the Viola Spolin dramatic improv techniques, students will focus on embodiment, physical work, and partnering using spontaneous improv techniques.

1:15-2:15pm - Focus on the Physical - Heightened Physical Expression with Jeanne Feeney - Movement is what the audience sees first from their seats as they experience the world an actor creates on stage or screen. Actors choices in posture, gesture and motion tell the audience almost as much or more than the text. Acting is a performing art. Learn to make choices that reflect the immediacy of the moment. Strengthen your physical instrument and your ability to embody the character's truth.

1:15-2:15pm - Creating Comedic Characters with Sarah Holt - We all know that humor is grounded in truth. But how do you convey your particular truth? What is your personal humor style? This workshop will help you identify how to find your funny based on four types, play to its strengths, and create characters grounded in that truth. No preparation necessary. Participants will engage in fun exercises to explore their natural comedic side and target the best material for comedy auditions and performances.
2:30-3:30pm - Nuts & Bolts of Making it as an Actor with Dionne Audain - This class is a GPS for your acting career. Assess where you are now, where you want to go & develop a plan to get there. Discover where the work is and how to find it. Learn how to book work anywhere in the in the Eastern Region and what it really takes to work full time as an actor & much much more.
