Adult Programs

Our adult program offers training classes for students interested in stregthening their skills or students with career aspirations in acting, directing and playwriting and is also suitable for persons who have a passion for the theatre and the benefits of it's unique training in increasing creativity.

Our adult curridulum is centered on Contemporary Acting & Playwriting and is designed to provide a highly cohesive training where each course strengthens the other, transforming the student and enabling them to produce moments that are reflective of the organic stage life that audiences crave.

Courses focus on techniques of Stanislavski, Uta Hagen and Viola Spolin; including audition techniques, vocal production, interpreting a script, scene work, monologues and creating realistic characters, structure of dramatic writing and playwriting training inspired by Lajos Egri and Stuart Spencer.

Our Master Instructors are masters in their respective disciplines and hold our students to high standards that demand discipline and focus.  Students who train at The Performing Arts Training Studio discover more meaning and value in their careers and craft as they learn how to better connect to themselves, their creativity, their partner, the text and the world of the stage.

Our expertise is in providing training that helps the artist rid themselves of poor habits which has a transformative impact on the theatre artist's approach to their technique and their ability to work in the industry.

Youth Programs

For 15 years, through our youth division, The Children's Theatre Wokshop we have offered youth classes and both Summer and Winter Break camps.

Our youth programs focus on helping youth to become leaders as they strengthen the necessary life skills of courage, confidence and creativity. Additionally, we strive to create intergenerational projects that help to strengthen communities. TCTW is a place where creativity and courage go hand in hand!
